A long time ago (well, the 1980's in Bristol), we started building exhibitions stands for clients in the UK, throughout Europe and beyond.

The stands we built back then were much different. Graphics were limited to individual panels, floor coverings were restricted to a few shades of carpet and AV... well, not only just for the elite but also expensive, with many people not having the content (was content a thing back then?) to put on it.

But still we delivered quality. We delivered stands that helped our customers sell, promote & grow and we did this by putting the client at the centre of everything we did.

Fast forward to now, so what's changed? 

Some things have evolved, rather than change. In the 80's we had a modular panel system - great for re-use and helping with budgets. Sustainability wasn't a term back then, but it was ahead of it's time for this too - we just didn't know it.

Our panels had some restrictions, so we have invested in a new system that continues our commitment to having a sustainable, reusable and cost effective solution - beMatrix. This sits along side our full bespoke manufacture, which allows us to build without limits, while still maintaining our environmental goals.

Design has changed massively. Back then each stand was hand drawn - a real art form in it's own right. Now, we have full 3D CAD to draw upon - making it possible to provide concept 'sketches', photorealistic renders and full working drawings. Our designs give you the chance for you to see your stand, fully branded, before sign off. 

Stand regulation has significantly shifted, in line with new Health and Safety guidelines. But these days we have dedicated project managers to handle all plan submission & service orders. Our project managers also run the project with the client, ensuring all finishes, branding & fine detail are taken care of. They're on hand all the way through, to make the process easy, enjoyable & stress free.

And the build? In some ways this has changed the most. Individual graphics have been replaced by large format prints, allowing us to install seamless images across whole walls. Technology keeps evolving and we evolve with it, working with specialist partner AV companies to deliver state of the art solutions and as for the floor covering, carpets, vinyls, laminates and fully printed bespoke flooring are now the norm.

But there is a constant from the 80's, the client is still at the centre of everything we do, helping them sell, promote & grow their business.
