Many spaces, one look and feel!
One of the challenges for exhibition designers and marketing managers is to show the same brand with a similar look and feel in a range of different spaces.
Each exhibition has its own set of rules and regulations, which is partly due to the many types of halls where the shows are held. Some are purpose made with high ceilings, the possibility to rig overhead banners and others are rooms not much heigher than your average living room ceiling.
Our client Implant Direct started working with us this year, we’ve done 3 shows together so far: Dentistry Show (NEC), BDIA Dental Showcase (ExCeL) and ADF Congress (Paris - Palais de Congrés).
Across the different shows, our challenge was to design stands that were different and also adequate for completely different spaces. The photos on the right show what we mean:
NEC - 5x5m, 2 sides open
ExCeL - 4x4m, 1 side open
Paris - 5x4.82m, 2 sides open (this one being oddly shaped, in a low ceiling hall with only 2.5m height to build)
The idea is that delegates visit your stand at different shows and feel a sense of unity and of strong brand. After all, one of the main reasons to be exhibiting in various trade shows of your market place is to get a strong brand awareness - that will only help with a great use of your corporate colours and similar finishings on the stands.
Another aspect that favours such strategy is that hiring the same exhibition contractor to build multiple stands across your area of service is that you can get great rates and reuse elements from other stands - do notice the reception counter with a lightbox in French Minimalism style used by Implant Direct.
Let us know if you’re planning a multi-show strategy and let us contribute to the process by suggesting a design that can flexible to different shows!
